Armadale Property Management is continuing its steady growth by adding two new commercial properties to its portfolio, one close to the Kitchener/Waterloo area in Cambridge, and another one in the Markham/Richmond Hill area. Not only does this expand the square footage of commercial properties under management, but is also expands the reach of the company beyond its normal operational area. Given the nature of the properties, and the capability of the services that Armadale Property Management provides, this expansion makes it more of a regional player beyond the GTA, something that the company wishes to pursue.
According to Senior Property Manager, Liz Whitton, “our internal capabilities can easily manage this slight expansion of geographic reach, and will enable us to service more clients within our target geography very efficiently. We look forward to managing similar types of properties in the near future”.
The first property is a piece of vacant land on Beaver Creek Road, Richmond Hill, near to Highway 7, while the second property is a retail and office mall on Hespeler Road in Cambridge. The latter adds over 17,000 square feet to our commercial portfolio under management.
Whitton concluded, “the operations side of the building is very well managed but what they needed was strong professional property management accounting experience. Armadale’s highly qualified and experienced accounting department will add value to their operations capabilities and that will make this property much more desirable”.
